About Hot Glue Heroes
Here you will discover retro diorama ornaments, hand made vintage inspired clothing, retro baubles and crafting supplies. I adore creating kitschy holiday crafts in my tiny hot pink studio in East Providence, Rhode Island.
My fondest childhood memories are of dreamy days spent crafting with my Mom. I didn’t know at the time how fortunate I was to have such a cool, creative mother.
Rainy days were spent cutting brightly colored paper or felt combined with items from the junk drawer to create adorable creatures or fabulous fashions for my dolls.
Sunny days were for nature adventures in New England. We would gather elements from the forest or the beach on the North Shore in Massachusetts to make earthy keepsakes that are still treasured today.
My Mom saw potential in ordinary objects and she fostered this ability in her children. Having a quirky and clever sense of style combined with the ability to make nostalgic pieces that brought joy to others, as creativity was highly valued in our family.
I create my assemblage pieces with the memory of my mother gently encouraging my imagination. From miniature ornament pieces with a dinosaur to Cupie adventures in a kitchmas fantasy, I strive for my customers to find a ray of sunshine in my upcycled outsider art.
